5. Nurse Practitioner Fee-for-Service Payment

• Nurse Practitioner services are not covered by OHIP, as NPs cannot bill OHIP.
• Fees for services are billed directly to the patient after use. Invoices can be provided for submission to personal benefits plans if applicable.
• All fees are in Canadian dollars and inclusive of applicable taxes.

6. Canada Health Act Compliance

• Hospital and physician care are covered by provincial health plans like OHIP. Physicians cannot charge for services covered under OHIP.
• Non-physician providers, including Nurse Practitioners, are permitted to charge patients directly for services under the Canada Health Act.

7. Prescriptions

• Prescriptions provided by a Nurse Practitioner are solely for the individual named on the prescription.
• Patients must carefully read all product information and contact their healthcare provider (NP, GP, or pharmacist) with any questions.
• Report any medication reactions, side effects, or adverse events promptly. In case of an emergency reaction, patients must call 911 or seek immediate care at the nearest emergency room.

8. Discontinuation of Services
